Good morning comrades. I wish to inform you that I will this evening be featuring on CBC tv programme to discuss various party and national issues at 20 30 hrs. And tomorrow I will be on Pan African Radio at 11:15 hrs on 105.1 Fm in Lusaka and surrounding areas. Kindly tune in
Yesterday on HOT FM, Hot Seat program.. Wynter Kabimba was asked to rate performance of our Presidents on a scale of 1-10, past and present...
HERE IS HOW HE RATED THEM..
Comrade Kaunda Kenneth 9
Mwanawasa Levy 8
Banda Rupiah Nyamasoya 5
Comrade Sata Micheal 5
Ka Fredrick Chiluba 1
Comrade Wynter, the GS of the Rainbow Party, the only socialist political Party in Zambia talked about a lot of things while on Radio Hot FM. Among them the need for African leaders to be serious when attending international meetings. He noted that most African leaders go for international meetings with no other agenda apart from shopping with their spouses as a result they enter into agreements they do not understand well and regret later. He said this in reference to the ICC agreement to which most African countries signed and agreed but are now backing off.
He also emphasized on the need for African countries to be united and speak with one voice.
Mr Kabimba also talked about the need for African countries to take responsibility over the development of Africa as opposed to relying on foreign aid as is the case with the building of the AU headquarters which we failed to build until the Chinese government built for us.
Comrade Kabimba also took his time to rate all the former presidents of Zambia. He rated Mwanawasa and KK the highest of which KK scored 9/10.
When asked why he didn't resign when he noticed that PF was underperforming, comrade Kabimba said he tried to control the situation on the background because he thought the PF meant well for this country. He also said it's not all disputes that must end with resignations just as not all marriage quarrels end with divorce.
He was also asked why he U-turned on his earlier statement that Lungu is eligible to contest 2021 elections. Mr Kabimba responded by saying he did not U turn but simply reconsidered his statement after considering advice from other Rainbow Party comrades.
He also wondered why those people who said he was supporting Lungu to seek a job have not come in the open now to wonder why has rejected the said job.
And going through different threads on social media, a lot of people have praised Kabimba for his genuineness and his consistency on governance issues.
A Rodgers had this to say on his Facebook Wall: "In all honesty, Wynter was the right man to take over PF, the man is disciplined and means well for this country and had he taken over PF, things wouldn't be the way they are now. I wonder what really happened to him because all the explanations have not been able to convince me".
Rodgers is an economist and businessman based in Europe. He supports PF.
